HGV Drivers wanted

Location: Multiple sites across the UK
Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 per annum

About the Role

We are seeking experienced HGV Drivers (Category 2) to join a growing logistics and distribution team operating across multiple sites in the UK. This role involves multi-drop deliveries, vehicle inspections, and ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, compliance, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Category 2 HGV in compliance with UK transport regulations
• Complete multi-drop deliveries across designated routes, ensuring timely distribution
• Conduct vehicle inspections and report any maintenance requirements
• Adhere to driver hours regulations and maintain accurate tachograph records
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods in line with company and legal requirements
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
• Comply with health and safety policies and road transport legislation
• Work collaboratively with logistics teams to ensure efficient route planning

Skills & Experience Required

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• CPC qualification and up-to-date tachograph card
• Proven experience in multi-drop or long-haul HGV driving
• Knowledge of UK road transport laws and regulations
• Ability to work independently with strong time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to work across multiple UK locations as required
