About the Role
We seek a Project Administrator to support a busy construction team in Guildford. This role involves coordinating project documentation, liaising with contractors, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and experience in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and administration of construction projects
- Maintain and update project documentation, contracts, and compliance records
- Liaise with site managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project deadlines are met
- Handle purchase orders, invoices, and budget tracking
- Prepare reports, meeting minutes, and progress updates
- Ensure all health & safety documentation and permits are up to date
- Support the project team with scheduling, diary management, and logistics
- Respond to client and stakeholder queries professionally and efficiently
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in project administration within the construction industry
- Strong organisation and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management software
- Understanding of construction processes, terminology, and compliance requirements
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
