About the Role

We seek a Project Administrator to support a busy construction team in Guildford. This role involves coordinating project documentation, liaising with contractors, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and experience in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination and administration of construction projects
  • Maintain and update project documentation, contracts, and compliance records
  • Liaise with site managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Handle purchase orders, invoices, and budget tracking
  • Prepare reports, meeting minutes, and progress updates
  • Ensure all health & safety documentation and permits are up to date
  • Support the project team with scheduling, diary management, and logistics
  • Respond to client and stakeholder queries professionally and efficiently

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in project administration within the construction industry
  • Strong organisation and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management software
  • Understanding of construction processes, terminology, and compliance requirements
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
